Hot Rods Rides 46! Captions in italics are from the sender of the pic. |
Here's my '28 (Brookville) roadster on a real '32 frame with Model "A" front and rear crossmembers. Most everything is traditional: an 8BA block with 4" crank, two 97's (on a Hexagon Tool Co. manifold), Isky, Edelbrock heads, '39 trans, '42 rear end, Bendix drum brakes ('53 pickup front, '40 Zephyr rear) stock (not dropped) front axle. I've put 2500 miles on it this summer in the northern Chicago suburbs. - Martin Cobb.
If there has to be one guy who works hard for his hobby, it must be Nori, putting together his 32 truck in Japan. Looking good, Nori.
Paul Gibson sent this shot of his cool Buick cruiser-mobile.
Shot by Phil Ennis on his trip to Seattle, a very nice 29/32 combo.
Nuther shot from Phil, this is his note: Ric DuPonts T Bucket in foreground, Mike's Truck on left and Go-Kat-Go's Chris "Von-Go"'s truck next to it with the scallops.
From Ray Didlot: I enjoyed reading your story about your wagon and thought I'd try and impress you with mine. I am attaching a picture of my wagon. It currently has a 225 slant six, custom paint, lowered, 15 inch billet specialties wheels, tweed interior, excellent sound system and most recently I installed a Vintage Air a/c system. Many hours of work have gone into this car and now Im starting to scare my wife because I plan to put the car on full air ride suspension and replace the engine, tranny, and rearend with a chrysler 360. Im only in thought mode for that idea though. I think for now I will continue bringing trophies home from car shows with the old car. I live in claremore, Oklahoma here in the great USA. It was nice to have read your article. Best regards, RAY DIDLOT

Tom Mclain sent this shot of his Willys sedan. An unusual car to get the pro street look. (or any other look, for that matter). ---oooOOOooo--- Thanks to all the contributers for the pics on this page....Mart. |
